My
PATH

My path to this work has been a winding one, traversing intensive academic study, unschooling, environmental activism, intentional community building, permaculture farming, herbalism, movement, stillness, and meeting the challenge to let go, again and again, of expectations and assumptions. I have been blessed with many wonderful teachers and guides over the years, who have helped and continue to help me discover what I understand as my life’s purpose: to support myself and others in living more wholeheartedly, so that we might embody the change we wish to see in the world. I wish in particular to acknowledge the teachings I have received through Robert Gonzales & Non-Violent Communication, Kathy Eich, Francis Weller, Ann Weiser Cornell, Kathleen Rude & the Work That Reconnects, Joe Rose & the TWG family, Brad Kammer & NARM, Elaine Miller-Karas, my Transition MKE community, and my Ecstatic Dance MKE collaborators & community.
