Starting today, I will use this page to provide updates on my practice, and to share resources that may be of use to my current and prospective clients.
As of today, March 23rd, 2020, as previously announced via email to all active clients:
Both of my office locations are currently closed for in-person sessions.
All sessions are being delivered by Telehealth. HIPAA-secure video is the default method, but phone sessions are available upon request. Please refer to this document to answer common questions about Telehealth sessions including technology requirements. Many insurance companies already covered video sessions at the same rate as in-person sessions. Many others are now loosening requirements for coverage or expanding coverage (eg, to include phone sessions). I do not expect interruptions in coverage. If you have concerns about your insurance coverage, please contact me via email or the secure client portal.
Active clients: If you need to make scheduling changes, or are interested in reducing or increasing the frequency of sessions, please contact me with as much notice as possible via email or the secure client portal. I understand the need for flexibility during this time; my 24 hour cancellation policy is still in effect, but I am willing to waive that in emergency situations.
Past clients: If you are interested in re-starting therapy services, please contact me via email or the secure client portal. I will do my best to accommodate your request.
I am not currently taking new clients. If you are already on my waiting list, you will remain on that list, but please know that I do not anticipate having new openings in the near future.
